Radio Weconn

Weconn Radio frequency 169Mhz - 868Mhz

WECONN radiomodems are fully configurable via software locally or remotely. The remote configuration takes place via radio “over the air” and it is possible to modify, among other parameters, the “on fly” channel directly from DTE. WECONN devices are equipped with RS232 and RS485 serial interface. They also have an optoisolated digital input and a relay output that can be used for signaling alarms.

WECONN radiomodems allow data transmission in various topographic layouts: point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, broadcasting. The digipeater function is also available which, thanks to the management of address routing, allows packets to be forwarded to areas not directly reachable in a single section. This thus allows the realization of multi-hop transmission structures. All the above modes are programmable via software.

The WECONN radiomodems work in the 169Mhz (SC9 series) and 868Mhz (OS8 series) frequency bands, frequencies granted free use by the European community in compliance with ERC 70-03.

The WECONN radiomodems have very low consumption levels to which a Power Saving function is added which, based on operational needs, can be selected / configured by the user.

The WECONN radiomodems use industrial components and the printed circuits are assembled with SMT technology. Therefore, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and are widely used even in critical environments.
