L4NS: LoraWan Network Server

L4NS is the Lorawan Network Server integrated with Level4.

The data acquired by the devices in the field through the LoraWan protocol are then transmitted to the GateWays, which in turn send them to L4NS.

DIRECTLY INTEGRATED DATA WITH LEVEL4

The L4NS Network Server connects to gateways in the field via a 3G, 4G or wired secure TCP/IP connection, and performs key functions, including:

  • enlist various devices

  • delete duplicate messages

  • decides which gateway should respond to an end node message

  • manages end node data rates with ADR (Adaptive Data Rate) to maximize network capacity and extend end node battery life etc.

  • deals with the management of data security and quality

The integration into Level4 allows quick and easy diagnostics of the entire data acquisition and forwarding process, essential for quickly understanding and intervening accordingly.
